    This prefecture is long and narrow that stretches over the Aegean Sea. The center of attraction is the main highway and ferryboats from several terminals. This is great for those seeking natural beauty and scenic variety.

    Fokida
    Colored with silver-green olive groves and the gold of tiny beaches, Fokida is a place where nature and history live. Visit this prefecture as this is the center of the globe, the navel of the Earth.

    Fthiotida
    The district of Fthiotida has great mountains, amazing beaches or cosmopolitan resorts and mountain villages swamped by plane and oak trees. The capital of the prefecture is Lamia.
