Once there, you can easily move around in a rented car or taxi, apart from the boats that take you around the shoreline and to the rest of the Canary Islands.  The temperature is steady around 19 degrees centigrade during winters and 23 degrees centigrade in summers, which makes the climate in Tenerife one of the best in the world.
