In Ho Chi Mihn City you can visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, some of which, humorously, have been made wider and taller for tourists. The tunnels are part of a greater network of tunnels beneath much of the tunnels, which were used during the Vietnam War. The War Remnants museum is in Ho Chi Mihn City, providing some historical context relating to the Vietnam War. Also worth a visit is Ben Thanh Market, one of the earliest surviving Saigon structures.

In Hue, you can visit the Imperial Tombs by motorbike and even expand the trip to a countryside tour. Hue is situated on the banks of the Perfume River, called after the flowers that fall into it in the Autumn, giving it an exotic scent. While in Hue, take a tour on one of the brightly coloured, intricately carved boats. The boat will stop at a pagoda and temples along the way and you’ll see lush green forest covering the hills and fishermen with conical hats, sheltering them from the sun.

In Hanoi queue up early in the morning to visit the embalmed body of former president Ho Chi Mihn and gaze at the stilt house there, which rises above water filled with lotus flowers. In the evening choose one of the many excellent restaurants here before heading to a Vietnamese water puppetry show. Workers in the rice paddies of Vietnam would create puppet shows above the water for the locals in times of flooding in the past and the art is masterfully transferred to a theatre setting here.Tour Around Vietnam’s Most Beautiful Offerings
