For an exciting day of adventure try Portaventura theme park resort. Keep all the family entertained with thrilling rides and attractions – get your adrenaline going on the exhilarating rollercoasters, and take a journey through the different exotic ‘lands’ that the resort is divided into. You can also try the Caribbean-themed water adventure rides at the Caribe Aquatic Park. For golf fans, the resort’s Lumine Golf Club boasts three fantastic courses that are the best way of getting out and about in the sun whilst relaxing at the same time. Portaventura is packed with things to do and see and is also home to some great restaurants and local food and wine.

For those in search of culture, the beautifully unspoiled historic town of Tarragona has plenty to offer visitors. When it comes to food and drink, you can’t go wrong. This region produces some of the finest Spanish wines from the many vineyards that you can see covering the landscape. Catalan food is also renowned, and Costa Dorado does not disappoint, with beachside cafes, lively tapas bars and seafood restaurants dotted along the coast.
