I will just leave my e-mail I send a couple of weeks ago to Malagacar.com , I think it speaks for itself. They advertising in red letters that you don’t have to take a bus in order to get to your car. This is not true! You have to take a bus and wait for it about 5 minutes!
Sir/madam,
Hereby I want to file a complaint.
On the 11th of october my daughter and I arrived at the airport of
Malaga. There would be waiting someone for us with our name on a sign
who would get us quickly to our car. To get an even faster service I
also gave my pasport number and other private information as I made the
reservation on the internet.
However, there was no-one waiting for us and we stood there for 10
minutes when finally someone came and asked if we had reserved a car at
Malagacar. Then he took us outside and told us to wait there for a bus
that would take us to another carpark. He told us not to take the first
bus but the second one. Then he dissapared. We waited again and after 5
minutes our bus came and another man drove us in about 3 minutes to an
office, stopped, said nothing and let us out. There were people sitting
on the street and at first we were wondering if maybe they were waiting
for a car. Later we decided to go into the office of Malagacar.com and
without any information we waited together with aproximately 10 other
people till it was our turn. We waited at least half an hour in order to
be finally “helped” by a totally overworked person who didn’t know who
we were, did’nt have any information about us and started to ask all the
questions I had been filling in on the internet. This took some time and
finally he showed us to our car and forgot to give us the GPS. He went
back into the office and there were 2 GPS’s laying on his desk , one
appaered to be not functioning and from the other no-one seem to know if
it was working or not. He gave us the otherone and my daughter asked him
as he was allready turning his back on us how it worked. He explaned
very quickly and without any further information he returned to his
desk. We drove of and once we were in the mountains we discouvered that
the second geer was’nt working allright, it was very lazy wich is very
anoying in the mountains as you have to use it a lot. Furthermore the
GPS wasn’t functioning very well either, it warned you to late and
sometimes gave the wrong directions.
Sumary:
* How dare you to advertise, saying that carhire with you is faster than
with others? And that everything goes even faster if you give your
pasport number and other private information?
* What about the guarantie that there will be someone at the airport
waiting for you with a sign with your name on it?
* And what about saying that reserving at Malagacar.com means no
standing in line and waiting?
* What about the person that is waiting for you taking you directly to
your car?
* And what about half a tank of fuel and returning it with half a tank?
You will allmost allways benefit from it, whilst the client will lose
money, as it is very diffucult to return the car with exactly a tank
half filled.
And last but not least:
Years ago we reserved a car at Europecar. This year we decided to choose
your company as you claimed to give a very fast service, because at the
arrival at the airport we didn’t have to go downstairs and wait , but
would directly get our car from your employee.
Well, let me tell you that at Europecar we got our car within 10
minutes, whereas with your company we had to wait all to gether at least
an hour and half and got a very bad service if no service at all.
I will make a PDF file on the internet in order to warn others from
getting into bussiness with you and we will never go into bussiness with
you again, although by returning the car we got a good service. Once an
experience like this was enough for us!
regards,
Mrs. E and A Kruseman
