Welcome to Les Cygnes, three beautifully restored gites with a private pool, set in 5 acres. We are located in the lovely village of Le Breuil Coiffaud and ideally situated as a touring base, a quiet holiday in the country or a bit of both.

Situated in the heart of Poitou-Charentes, on the west coast of France. This picturesque region has 2,250 hours year, making it the second sunniest region in France and, therefore, ideal for visiting from early spring to late Autumn.

Self contained 1 bedroom Gite in secluded garden with pool situated in Forest of Cledou. Ideal for couples seeking peace & quiet but not boredom. Beautiful walks or cycle through the pine forests, just 2.5km to the charming French village of Rougnac where you will find a typical good value restaurant, bakery, grocery and post office. We are just 10km from the fortified town of Villebois Lavalette with a large well stocked Supermarket and a traditional French market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The bustling city of Angouleme is only 25 km, the Roman city of Perigueux 50km and the well known city of Cognac only 65km.

A small friendly Chambres d’hote/ gite located on the outskirts of a typical French small market town just a short walk from both the town centre with its facilities & the open countryside.
In Chez Rowen you have a choice of one or two bedrooms for yourself & family sleeping a maximum of four people having your own bathroom with shower & bath.
Each bedroom has a television for French TV plus a DVD player or you may prefer to sit out on the patio to enjoy the tranquil summer evenings after a leisurely stroll up to a village bar or restaurant
We can provide ,given notice, a 2 or 4 course evening meal for your enjoyment.
Alternatively you may wish to book the accommodation on a gite basis for two people which comprises of a double bedroom, lounge, kitchen diner & shower room with separate entrance. There is a small patio area & barbecue for your use.

A charming former school house situated in the Poitou - Charente countryside, offering a warm welcome and comfortable stay in a peaceful village with all facilities close by.
The main house offers 3 comfortable ensuite bedrooms. Set in the old walled playground the garden and terrace offer a peaceful setting to relax and where evening meal can be served on request.

Being situated on the Charente, Vienne and Deux sevre borders, this is the ideal place to stay. With it’s gentle climate and varied coutryside it is a gateway to exploring this beautiful and charming region of France.

In nearby Lezay there is a bustling traditional market every Tuesday morning where you can sample local farm produce and wines including Pineau, goats cheese and blackened cheese tart, which are 3 specialities of this area.

You can also find in Lezay a beautiful park and pond as well as swimming pool, tennis courts, horse riding and fishing.

Locally you can visit the ‘Mines d’Argent’ and beautiful romanseque churches in Melle, the ‘musee de Ravranum’ at Rom and leisure lake at Celles-sur-Belles.
A little further afield you can delight in the historic towns of Poitiers and Niort. La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast and Cognac surrounded by it’s acres of vineyards. Also a must is ‘le Marais poitvin’- ‘green venice’.
