There are excellent tavernas only 5 minutes drive down the hill, and the gently sloping Santava beach is just 5kms. This beautiful area of Greece begs to be explored, with the historic sites of Mystra, Messini and Olympia all easily reached for a day trip, and walking the Taigetos gorges is not to be missed.
